POSITION SCOPE
The Haul Truck Driver will be responsible for safe and efficient operation of production mining equipment. They will be operating a haul truck to move water and aggregate materials to support site development operations.
Position requires extensive travel and living at or near job sites.
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Conduct pre-trip/walk-around safety inspections and completes daily Field Level Hazard Assessments for all activities
- Maintain heavy equipment in good operating condition, reporting and logging maintenance requirements or concerns
- Complete production reporting and other documentation as required
- Communicate effectively and professionally with other team members
- Be a leader in both safety and production for the team by ensuring compliance with all company, clients, and legislated safety policies and procedures
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Safety, Safety, Safety comply with all OSHA and all company policies, procedures, and standards of safety
- Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 18 years of age or older
- A valid driver's license
- M.S.H.A. part 46 and/or part 48 or willingness to obtain certification - company will pay for certification
- Acceptable MVR in accordance with Fisher's Company Vehicle Program policy
- OSHA certification or willingness to obtain certification - company will pay for certification
- Ability to complete work tasks under various adverse weather conditions including heat above 100 degrees, cold, and rain
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and physical is required
- Travel and weekend work required
