The Opportunity
What You’ll Do
- Conduct market scoping and landscape analysis across Asia Pacific markets to identify white-space opportunities, emerging consumer needs, and competitive threats for Glucerna and Therapeutics.
- Design and commission consumer and market research (quantitative and qualitative) to generate actionable insights that inform brand strategy and innovation pipelines.
- Lead brand restaging projects, including positioning, messaging architecture, and go-to-market strategy, in partnership with regional and global brand teams.
- Develop the annual regional marketing plan and brand strategy, aligning cross-functional stakeholders (medical, regulatory, sales, finance, e-commerce) around shared priorities.
- Build and execute HCP engagement strategies, including scientific communication plans, KOL engagement, medical education programs, and congress activities.
- Partner with Medical Affairs to translate clinical and scientific evidence into HCP-facing marketing materials and detailing tools that support field sales teams.
- Ensure all HCP-directed materials comply with local regulatory, medical, and legal review requirements across multiple Asia Pacific markets.
- Develop and execute integrated consumer marketing campaigns (digital, social, e-commerce, in-store) that build brand equity and drive trial and conversion.
- Manage agency partners and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver campaign assets on time, on budget, and on brand across multiple markets simultaneously.
- Track and report campaign performance against KPIs, using data-driven insights to optimize in-flight activity and inform future planning.
- Act as the regional point of contact for in-country marketing teams, balancing multiple concurrent projects, timelines, and priorities across the Asia Pacific portfolio.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across strategic and execution workstreams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
- 5–8 years of experience in marketing or strategic marketing roles, ideally spanning both upstream brand strategy and downstream campaign execution.
- Experience within the healthcare, nutrition, pharmaceutical, or FMCG industry, with exposure to both HCP-facing and consumer-facing marketing.
- Demonstrated experience leading market research, market scoping, and brand restaging projects from insight generation through to execution.
- Experience in launching products in Asia Pacific.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with proven ability to influence cross-functionally and work effectively with in-country marketing, medical, and sales teams across diverse Asia Pacific markets.
- Implemented best-in-class HCP events at a local or regional level.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities and deliver against tight timelines in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- Willingness to travel across the Asia Pacific region as required.
- Background in Diabetes and Oncology preferred.
