Job Title: Hypersonic Aeropropulsion Test Analyst
Location: Arnold Air Force Base, TN (AEDC)

Duties:
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
• Supporting the 715th Test Squadron at the Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC) in the planning, execution, and analysis of hypersonic aeropropulsion ground testing.
• Analyzing aerodynamic, thermodynamic, and propulsion data from ground test facilities (such as the Aerodynamic and Propulsion Test Unit - APTU).
• Developing comprehensive test plans, test matrices, and safety packages in coordination with facility engineers and program stakeholders.
• Utilizing data acquisition systems and post-test data reduction tools to evaluate scramjet, ramjet, and other high-speed propulsion system performance.
• Collaborating with test facility personnel, government customers, and prime contractors to ensure test objectives are safely and effectively met.
• Generating technical reports, data packages, briefings, and presentations to communicate test results and anomalies to stakeholders.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a highly related technical field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 3+ years of relevant experience in aeropropulsion, wind tunnel testing, or hypersonic aerodynamics.
• Proficiency in data analysis and engineering software (e.g., MATLAB, Python, or similar).
• Familiarity with high-speed/hypersonic propulsion systems and compressible flow dynamics.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical data clearly.
• Prior experience with AEDC test facilities or the 715th Test Squadron is highly desirable.
Security Clearance:
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
Other Essential Job Functions:
• Must be willing to travel up to 10%.
