Overview

Responsible for preventative maintenance and repair of electrical equipment in the facility.

Responsibilities

This role is a technical support lead role on shift. The successful interaction with Operations is a critical part of the Day Electrician position.

Qualifications

Requirements 

 

• Strong knowledge of TCOS program
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent safety and attendance record
• Experience with: o Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) o Hydraulic & Pneumatic controls 
• Proficient with electrical instruments, hand/power tools
• Know and understand electrical principles and electronics
• Knowledge of diverse electrical equipment

 

Experience/Preferences

 

 

• Experience working on overhead bridge cranes
• Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• PC, Control System Networking and Industrial Communications Systems
