Job Summary
The role of Enterprise Account Manager drives new & existing business partnerships within the complex world of Healthcare. Suitors should be focused on driving profitable revenue growth, negotiating effectively, building strategic selling strategy while effectively coordinating global strategy with your sales peers.
The EAM position involves developing strategic objectives driven by a comprehensive understanding of their customers' supply chain. The ideal EAM must be self-motivated to accomplish all the internal ‘come to work’ items which drive successful external outcomes. The ideal EAM is able to execute their business plan by meeting and exceeding sales and revenue goals. This position leads service and sales activity across UPS's portfolio of products and services including Package, Forwarding, and Distribution.
Key Responsibilities
- Expand Market share & retain profitably: Ability to build strong ties with customer stakeholders that allow you to negotiate effectively and coordinate global sales strategy through a culture of accountability and collaboration with overlays.
- Own Client Relationships: Build strong relationships with senior decision-makers across Healthcare’s largest enterprise customers. Positions themselves as a trusted advisor, helping customers unlock value through UPS’s capabilities. Maintains contract compliance and renewal process.
- Drive Market Growth: Grow market share across all modes — package, global freight forwarding, warehousing, and distribution, delivering global premium growth across trade lanes. Identifies decliners/gainers to promote future growth
- Expand the Portfolio: Leverage UPS’s full suite of services to meet diverse and evolving customer needs, increasing share of wallet across accounts. Collaborate across business units to deliver integrated solutions and increase modal/operational efficiency.
- Deliver Results: Achieve your revenue, volume, and retention targets by executing against a clear and focused sales plan while improving profitability and operating margins. Leverages UPS’ leading innovation to build solid QVPs and WIN MORE!
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of successful sales & territory management. Enterprise represents UPS' top sales professionals working with our largest global clientele on the brightest stage!
- Negotiation skills – Sellling2Succeed, Challenger, SSN
- Must be available to work flexible hours working alongside global UPS counterparts and global customers w/ offices across geographic regions
- Must be willing to travel and engage customers, as required
- Multi-skilled professional with excellent proven organizational abilities – required
- Accountability: Have a clear understanding of objectives & driving towards those goals
Preferences:
- Demonstrates ability to develop strategic sales plans and negotiate in tension
- Business-to-Business or Business-to-Consumer sales experience, or UPS management or customer facing role experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or related field
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook)
- Driving Culture: Is a team player who works on being a positive influence with their peers and our customers.
Territory: The preferred candidate will be based in the Eastern Time Zone to best support business needs and customer engagement within the region.
