Job Description Summary:
This position operates under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and Virtual Health Leadership. Its primary responsibility is to provide consistent and appropriate oversight of patients exhibiting behaviors that may jeopardize their treatment continuity or, in the case of nonviolent patients with frequent assistance needs, to ensure their safety and well-being.The shift schedule is from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, totaling 32 hours per week.
Responsibilities And Duties:
Maintains visual observation of patients at all times.Verbally redirects patient over digital 2-way audio device that is in patient room.
Immediately summons the nursing staff if the patient requires assistance.
Participates in a collaborative identification and reporting of patient safety issues.
Demonstrates safe work practices and attitudes, follows safety rules, and works to prevent unsafe conditions and behaviors.
As a High Reliability Organization (HRO), responsibilities require focus on safety, quality and efficiency in performing job duties.

Completion of BLS is required during orientation. Demonstrated customer service skills and effective communication abilities are essential. Candidates must be capable of maintaining focus on specific subjects or tasks for extended periods. Additionally, the ability to analyze and synthesize patient care information to develop individualized care recommendations is necessary. A minimum of one year of experience in the healthcare or service-related industry is preferred.
