Lead team to verify and keep records on incoming/outgoing shipments and prepare items for Stocking/Picking by performing the following duties to meet quality and productivity standards. Must operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment.
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for scheduling LTL and TL shipments.
· Review and process daily cycle counts.
· Lead daily safety talks/stretches and help enforce “zero” tolerance safety policy.
. Train new Clerks and Material Handlers to meet team/company standards.
· Lead Clerks and Material handlers in all daily functions, to meet company and team goals.
· Operate lift trucks or hand trucks to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas.
· Operate PB crimp tools, including diagnosis, repair, and processing.
· Operate stretch wrapping Equipment.
· Maintains inventory of shipping materials/supplies.
· Performs all computer functions necessary to track various aspects of goods.
· Supports the receiving/shipping of goods with a high quality and attention to detail to comply with customer stocking needs/request.
· Responsible for receiving all materials designated for parts fulfillment department.
· Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department Supervisor.
· Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
· Responsible for arranging trucks for pick up by the carrier specified on the customer’s purchase order.
· Part Receiving/Stocking cross work.
· Part picking/shipping cross work.
· Other responsibilities may be assigned from the department supervisor.
Education and Experience:
· Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a warehouse/fulfillment environment.
· One year ERP experience required. (Infor Preferred)
· Must have intermediate computer user knowledge.
· Shipping and Receiving experience required.
· Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication, and organizational skills.
· Knowledge of WMS and RF guns.
· Demonstrated commitment to safety.
· Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
· Attention to detail, self-starter, and must have ability to solve intermediate problems.
· Ability to read and use a tape measure.
· Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
· High School Diploma or GED
· Minimum of 3-5 years of forklift & reach truck experience
· Must pass pre-employment and random drug screen.
· Ability to lift, up to 50 lbs.
The base hourly range for this role is $18.17 - $25.00. This range represents the low and high end of the base hourly range for this position. The actual base rate offered will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
