Job Description
As an Associate Manager โ Digital Investment, you will take ownership of end-to-end digital investment delivery across assigned accounts, moving beyond execution into planning input, vendor management, and financial oversight. The role requires you to manage campaign operations with greater accountability, ensure accuracy across bookings and reporting, and contribute to investment decisions that drive efficiency and value for agencies under Publicis Groupe Malaysia (Starcom, Zenith, Spark Foundry).

Responsibilities
Role
- Work closely with agencies under Publicis Groupe Malaysia and vendor partners to translate media briefs into actionable digital investment plans.
- Provide input on channel selection, budget allocation, and digital scheduling to ensure plans are practical, efficient, and aligned with campaign objectives.
- Review and validate digital schedules before execution to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
- Oversee end-to-end campaign execution, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and quality standards are consistently met.
- Supervise booking orders to vendors, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment to approved plans.
- Act as escalation point for campaign issues and resolve operational gaps proactively.
- Review and consolidate campaign reports (Interim/EOC), ensuring accuracy and clear interpretation of performance trends.
- Translate campaign data into actionable insights and recommendations for internal teams and stakeholders.
- Maintain and enhance reporting frameworks to improve consistency and insight quality.
- Manage campaign budget tracking including pacing, utilisation, and reconciliation across campaigns.
- Liaise with finance on production estimates and purchasing orders, ensuring alignment between bookings, invoicing, and actual delivery.
- Support cost optimisation and value creation initiatives across vendor negotiations and campaign setups.
- Serve as a key point of contact between internal agency teams and external media vendors, ensuring smooth coordination and communication flow.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery and access to opportunities.
- Support agency teams with timely updates and resolution of operational matters.
- Maintain and improve monthly activity trackers, ensuring accurate tracking of campaign and investment activities.
- Identify inefficiencies in workflows (booking, reporting, reconciliation) and recommend improvements.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members on execution standards and best practices.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- 4โ6 years of experience in media, advertising, or digital investment roles (agency experience preferred), building on the foundational execution scope of an Executive role.
- Strong understanding of digital media operations, platforms, and terminology.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint), with the ability to manage data and reporting independently.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders across internal teams and external vendors effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with high accountability for delivery quality and financial accuracy.
- Able to manage multiple campaigns concurrently and operate with a higher degree of independence.
