Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive media professional to support the activation, optimisation, and reporting of performance media campaigns for a major travel and hospitality client account team.

As part of the Media Performance team, this role will work closely with activation specialists, analytics teams, ad operations, finance, and client servicing teams to ensure campaigns are delivered accurately, efficiently, and in line with business objectives. The Planner will play a key role in coordinating campaign workflows, managing timelines, monitoring delivery, supporting performance analysis, and driving operational excellence across paid media activity. 

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys managing multiple workstreams, and is passionate about campaign execution and performance optimisation. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Activation & Delivery 
  • Support the activation and delivery of performance media campaigns across key digital channels. 
  • Coordinate campaign setup, trafficking requirements, tracking implementation, QA processes, launch readiness, and campaign deployment. 
  • Partner with activation teams, ad operations, analytics, and finance teams to ensure campaigns are launched accurately and on schedule. 
  • Monitor campaign delivery against approved budgets, timelines, and performance objectives. 
  • Maintain campaign trackers, delivery updates, and status reports to ensure clear visibility of campaign progress. 
  • Identify campaign risks, delivery issues, and operational challenges, proactively escalating where appropriate. 
  • Support management of creative assets, trafficking instructions, tagging requirements, and platform deliverables. 

 

  • Campaign Performance & Optimisation 
  • Monitor campaign pacing, delivery, and performance throughout the campaign lifecycle. 
  • Support the implementation of optimisation recommendations designed to improve efficiency and performance outcomes. 
  • Collaborate with activation and analytics teams to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. 
  • Track campaign KPIs and support ongoing performance reviews across active campaigns. 
  • Assist with budget pacing, delivery management, and spend tracking to ensure campaigns remain on target. 
  • Support testing, learning, and optimisation initiatives across performance channels. 

 

  • Reporting & Performance Analysis 
  • Support the development of campaign performance reports, dashboards, and post-campaign analyses. 
  • Consolidate reporting inputs from activation platforms, analytics tools, and internal teams. 
  • Translate campaign results into clear performance summaries, insights, and recommendations. 
  • Ensure reporting outputs are accurate, timely, and aligned with client expectations. 
  • Support campaign reconciliations, delivery validation, and financial closure processes. 

 

  • Stakeholder Management & Collaboration 
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment on campaign requirements, timelines, deliverables, and performance objectives. 
  • Coordinate effectively with activation specialists, ad operations, analytics, finance, and client servicing teams. 
  • Support day-to-day communication and follow-up across campaign stakeholders. 
  • Maintain strong working relationships and facilitate collaboration across disciplines to ensure efficient campaign delivery. 

 

  • Operational Excellence 
  • Manage campaign workflows and administrative processes with accuracy and attention to detail. 
  • Maintain campaign documentation, trackers, timelines, and reporting resources. 
  • Identify opportunities to improve campaign delivery processes, workflows, and reporting efficiency. 
  • Support the implementation of best practices that improve consistency, visibility, and quality of execution. 
  • Contribute to a culture of accountability, responsiveness, and continuous improvement across the team. 

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in a media agency, digital marketing, performance media, campaign activation, or media operations environment. 
  • Experience supporting the execution and optimisation of digital media campaigns across channels such as Paid Search, Social, Programmatic Display, and/or Online Video. 
  • Familiarity with campaign trafficking, QA processes, tracking implementation, campaign monitoring, and performance reporting. 
  • Understanding of performance media metrics, including impressions, clicks, CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS, conversions, and pacing management. 
  • Experience working with media platforms and reporting tools such as Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, DV360, Campaign Manager 360, SA360, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms is advantageous. 
  • Experience managing campaign timelines, deliverables, and multiple workstreams within a fast-paced environment. 
  • Exposure to working with cross-functional teams including activation specialists, analytics, ad operations, finance, and client servicing teams. 
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to analyse data and present findings clearly and accurately. 
  • Experience working on hospitality, travel, retail, or multi-market accounts is advantageous but not essential.
