Position Overview
The Monitoring, Evaluation & MIS Specialist will establish and manage systems for monitoring project implementation, tracking performance indicators, evaluating programme outcomes, and supporting evidence-based decision-making. The expert will design monitoring frameworks, develop Management Information Systems (MIS), prepare dashboards, and ensure timely reporting against project objectives and performance indicators.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop Results Frameworks and LogFrames. • Design KPIs. • Develop Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) frameworks. • Establish MIS. • Develop digital dashboards. • Monitor implementation schedules. • Design data collection methodologies. • Analyse performance data. • Coordinate data validation. • Prepare monitoring and evaluation reports. • Support impact assessments. • Ensure data quality. • Facilitate review meetings. • Identify implementation risks. • Support knowledge management.
Educational Qualifications
Essential: Master's in Statistics, Economics, Data Analytics, Public Policy, Information Systems, Project Management, Engineering, Management or related.
Preferred: Certification in Monitoring & Evaluation, Project Management or Data Analytics.
Professional Experience
7–12 years in monitoring & evaluation, MIS, performance management or donor-funded programmes with experience developing dashboards and reporting systems.
