Responsibilities
Your role as Associate Director will involve:
- Increase overall awareness of IE Undergraduate programs in the Peru, Bolivia & Paraguay.
- Plan, manage & implement business development and commercial activities for the region to promote IE’s Undergraduate programs.
- Participate in appropriate recruitment and enrollment activities, including Fairs, school visits, presentations, information sessions, etc
- Increase the number of interested candidates in IE, thereby developing a healthy and steady pipeline of candidates.
- Benchmark competitors focusing mainly on their commercial activities and programs
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the education ecosystem, including school counselors, principals, and academic coordinators, to position IE as a preferred higher education partner.
- Design and implement engagement strategies (e.g., exclusive sessions, workshops, school partnerships, counselor briefings) to strengthen advocacy and referral pipelines from schools across Peru, Bolivia & Paraguay.
- Reports to the Office Director, Channel Director and Regional Director
Qualifications
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
Our ideal candidate must have great commercial skills as well as be an advocate of technology usage to manage the candidate experience.
We require:
- Bachelors and Master´s degree from IE University or another leading school desirable
- Proficiency in English is fundamental
- Legal authorization to work in the Peru is required
- Experience in an international environment
- Intellectual curiosity, open minded and creative
- Great communication skills, entrepreneurial spirit, and commercial drive
- Strong teamwork capability and a positive customer-oriented style
- Analytical and numerical skills
- Solution-oriented and a positive/can-do attitude
- Availability to travel across the prioritized markets.
- Experience in the education sector is not required but preferable. Knowledge of the entrepreneurial and education sector is a plus.
