IQC Inspector

We are building our North America manufacturing team in Richardson, Texas.The IQC (Incoming Quality Control) Inspector inspects incoming materials, semi-finished products and finished goods against inspection specifications, SOPs and engineering drawings. You will protect production quality through accurate measurement, clear records and quick escalation of issues.Temperature-controlled production floor. Cleanroom entry is required.This is a permanent, full-time position. You will be employed directly by TeraHop.

About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming materials, semi-finished products and finished goods per inspection specifications, SOPs and drawing requirements.
- Use calipers, microscopes, test fixtures and other tools to check appearance, dimensions and function.
- Record inspection results promptly; isolate and label nonconforming material per procedure and report it to engineers or team leads.
- Support quality data collection, sample retention, first article inspection (FAI) and 5S on the shop floor.
- Complete other inspection and quality-support tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma, technical/vocational certificate or equivalent.
- Familiarity with common inspection and measurement tools (calipers, microscopes, test fixtures).
- Strong attention to detail and quality awareness.
- Able to work assigned shifts and keep pace with production line requirements.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior inspection experience in electronics, optical transceivers/modules or precision manufacturing.
