Position Summary...

Role summary: Walmart is seeking a Senior Director, Service Excellence – LATAM to build and lead SEE's operating model globally, initially supporting Mexico, Central America, and Chile. This leader will establish the talent, location strategy, and operating foundations required to deliver accurate, timely, compliant, and scalable earnings operations for Walmart’s independent contractors. The role will serve as the regional connector across Global SEE’s pillars while partnering closely with LMD, Product, Engineering, Finance, Tax, Legal, Treasury, Trust & Safety, and in-market leaders. The Senior Director will shape market-readiness plans, hire, develop teams, and help adapt global processes, controls to local business and regulatory needs.

About the team: Global Spark Earnings Excellence (Global SEE) is a key capability within Walmart Global Controllership, dedicated to ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant earnings for Walmart’s independent delivery partners. The team manages the full earnings lifecycle, including calculation, disbursements, tax, reconciliations, controls, and regulatory readiness. Combining a scalable global model with strong local partnerships, Global SEE collaborates across functions such as Last Mile Delivery, Product, Engineering, Finance, and Legal to build reliable, driver-focused operations. As the team expands globally, it strengthens regional capabilities, talent, and foundations to deliver seamless, compliant, and high-quality service operations.

What you'll do...

·Define and execute the LATAM Global SEE strategy, operating model, and market-readiness roadmap.  ·Partner across Global SEE, LMD, Product, Engineering, Finance, Tax, Legal, Treasury, Trust & Safety, and local teams.  · Build regional capability by recommending locations and hiring and developing high-performing local teams.  ·Adapt global earnings, disbursement, tax, reconciliation, and control processes to local market and regulatory needs.  ·Lead critical launch programs, decisions, dependencies, and risk mitigation to deliver scalable operations.  ·Drive accurate, timely, compliant earnings outcomes and a strong driver experience across LATAM.   What you'll bring:    ·Senior leadership experience building and scaling multi-country operational capabilities in LATAM; marketplace, gig, fintech, or financial-operations experience preferred.  ·Proven ability to establish a regional operating model, including market readiness, location strategy, talent selection, process design, and transition to steady-state operations.  ·Expertise in earnings, disbursements, tax, reconciliations, controls, compliance, or similarly regulated operational environments.  ·Ability to lead through ambiguity and influence senior stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Tax, Treasury, and business teams.  ·Strong transformation experience ·Demonstrated people leadership, including hiring, developing, and inspiring high-performing teams.  ·Strong English and Spanish communication skills; Portuguese is a plus.

Sunnyvale, California US-11349: The annual salary range for this position is $169,000.00 - $338,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
