The Team

451 Research is a technology research group within S&P Global Market Intelligence that provides a holistic view of innovation across the entire enterprise IT landscape — generating the data-driven insight that empowers technology and service providers, IT leaders, and financial professionals to capitalize on their market opportunity. At S&P Global Market Intelligence, we understand the importance of accurate, deep and insightful information. Our team of experts delivers unrivaled insights and leading data and technology solutions, partnering with customers to expand their perspective, operate with confidence, and make decisions with conviction. The Revenue Operations function sits at the commercial backbone of 451 Research, ensuring that our renewable subscription book is operationally sound, our sales teams are equipped with precise data and tooling, and our revenue recognition is structurally compliant across every deal we close.

The Role:

Own Revenue Operations end-to-end for the 451 Research business line: manage a Multi-Million dollar renewable book across 10–15 deals per month, spanning pipeline reporting, deal operations, revenue tracking, and go-to-market execution in close partnership with Sales leadership.

Run the deal desk: review non-standard terms, discount requests, and T&C redlines with sales representatives and Legal; manage approval flows; and structure deals with ASC 606 / IFRS 15 revenue recognition requirements in view.

Build and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards used by the Head of Sales, Sales Directors, and sales representatives for pipeline reviews, forecast calls, renewal tracking, and closed-lost analysis.

Deliver revenue intelligence: prepare product-level revenue forecasts and performance analyses for 451 Research sales leadership; recommend price uplifts from channel and package-level data; and manage product and price book data for Salesforce loading.

Track and report NRR and GRR metrics for the renewable book, providing sales and finance leadership with structured, timely visibility into renewal health, churn risk, and subscription performance.

Lead platform operations and integrations: serve as Salesforce SME and superuser, supporting migrations, datacenterHawk integration into 451 Research sales operations, and UAT execution for revenue technology initiatives including AI-assisted CPQ processing.

What we're looking for:

Professional Experience: 3–5 years of experience in Revenue Operations or Sales Operations within a B2B SaaS, technology research, data, or information services environment, with demonstrated accountability for commercial operations outcomes.

Salesforce Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to build reports, dashboards, and manage structured pipeline data across Salesforce Account, Contact, Opportunity, Quote, and Deal objects.

Revenue Recognition: Demonstrated working knowledge of ASC 606 / IFRS 15 revenue recognition principles as applied to non-standard commercial deal structuring and terms review.

Revenue Analytics: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain product-level revenue forecasts, NRR/GRR tracking models, and subscription performance analyses using structured commercial data.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work across Sales, Finance, Legal, Product, IT, and Order Management stakeholders in a fast-paced, commercially sensitive environment.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a closely related discipline.

Demonstrated experience in deal desk operations: reviewing non-standard terms, discount requests, and T&C redlines in coordination with Legal and Sales.

Experience with CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) tools and AI-assisted commercial processing workflows.

Demonstrated experience supporting CRM platform migrations or system integrations as a business process SME or superuser, including field mapping across commercial objects.

Experience managing Salesforce product catalogue and price book data for loading, maintenance, and accuracy validation.

Demonstrated experience executing UAT cycles for CRM or revenue technology implementations, including end-to-end testing, data validation, and cutover support.

Prior experience in a technology research, enterprise IT data, or market intelligence business environment (e.g., 451 Research, Gartner, IDC, Forrester, or equivalent).
