Do work that matters
The Document Management Crew provides critical capabilities across the Group, spanning customer communications, digital signing, intelligent document processing and content management. We are modernising our technology estate and introducing next-generation capabilities that leverage automation, AI and cloud technologies.
Join as a Senior Engineering Manager to lead engineering across our Customer Communication Management (CCM) and eSigning products, including OpenText Communications (Exstream) and Docusign.
In this role, you'll provide technical and people leadership, shape our engineering strategy and technology roadmap, and develop high-performing teams responsible for critical customer communication and digital signing capabilities.

- Lead, coach and develop high-performing engineering teams across Customer Communication Management and eSigning
- Shape and deliver the engineering strategy and technical roadmap for our customer communication and digital signing capabilities
- Lead the modernisation and simplification of our technology estate, improving resilience, security, supportability and maintainability
- Champion engineering excellence through automation, DevSecOps, quality engineering, observability and full-cycle ownership
- Partner closely with Product and Architecture to deliver secure, resilient and scalable technology solutions aligned to customer and business outcomes
- Strengthen production health and operational resilience, embedding effective technology risk and security practices
- Build engineering capability through coaching, mentoring, recruitment, career development and continuous learning
- Identify opportunities to use AI, automation and emerging technologies to improve engineering productivity and evolve our customer communication capabilities.
We’re interested in hearing from people who
- Proven experience leading engineering teams in complex enterprise technology environments
- Strong technical leadership skills with the ability to influence architecture, engineering strategy and technology decisions
- A track record of coaching and developing engineers and building inclusive, high-performing teams
- Strong knowledge of modern software engineering practices, including cloud, APIs, CI/CD, DevSecOps, automation and observability
- Experience modernising critical enterprise platforms and improving their resilience, security and maintainability
- Strong stakeholder leadership skills and the ability to navigate complexity, ambiguity and competing priorities
- Experience with Customer Communication Management, eSigning, document generation or enterprise document technologies would be highly regarded
- Experience with OpenText Exstream or DocuSign would also be highly regarded.
