About the Role

A warm, low-key, and respectful family is looking for an experienced Executive Housekeeper to care for their secondary residence in Miami. The home is a large, modern estate with a simple, elegant design and a beautiful pool area. Above all, the family appreciates a home that feels fresh, well cared for, and ready to welcome them whenever they arrive.

The family visits from time to time, often for long weekends or over the holidays. They treasure their privacy during these stays, so staff are typically not needed in the home while they're in residence. When guests visit, a more attentive level of housekeeping service will be welcomed.

This is a lovely opportunity for a seasoned housekeeping professional who takes genuine pride in their work, enjoys working independently, and values a calm, respectful environment.This role will report to the family’s Director of Residences.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the home to a very high standard through daily cleaning and tidying
• Perform thorough, regular dusting throughout the residence, a top priority given the home’s design and setting
• Manage all laundry, linens, and wardrobe care, including care of delicate fabrics
• Care for fine surfaces, finishes, and furnishings appropriate to a modern luxury home
• Prepare the home ahead of the family’s or guests’ arrival and reset it after departure
• Provide attentive housekeeping service when guests are in residence, as requested
• Support events and larger gatherings, including coordinating additional housekeeping help when needed
• Maintain the pool area, changing room, and pool laundry 
• Monitor and restock household supplies
• Communicate any maintenance needs or concerns to the appropriate contacts
• Run errands if requested
• Work collaboratively alongside other team members

Schedule

• Full-time, primarily Monday through Friday during standard daytime hours
• Flexibility is very important, as the schedule may shift around the family’s visits, guest stays, and events
• Travel is not expected

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working as an Executive Housekeeper or Senior Housekeeper in a large private estate or luxury hospitality setting
• A mature, respectful, and quiet presence in the home
• Meticulous attention to detail and a genuine pride in caring for a beautiful home
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently, often while the family is away
• An established network of reliable housekeepers who can be called on to assist with events or larger projects is a strong plus
• Flexible, discreet, and trustworthy
• Able to manage the physical demands of a large, multi-level home with many stairs
• Excellent references from private households or luxury hospitality
• Able to pass a comprehensive background check
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Within a commutable distance to Miami, Florida

Compensation

• $55+ per hour | DOE
• Full benefits package offered
