Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our team in the precast manufacturing and construction sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting daily accounting operations, performing account reconciliations, and assisting with financial reporting and month-end closing activities. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of accounting principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team while meeting deadlines.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Record, review, and maintain accurate financial transactions and accounting records.
• Manage general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Perform bank, balance sheet, and other account reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and account analysis.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Verify invoices, journal entries, and supporting documents.
• Assist with VAT returns, external audits, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies and improve processes

Job Specifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Professional accounting certification, such as CPA, ACCA, or SOCPA, is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and financial reporting.
• Practical experience with general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Ability to analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and resolve routine accounting issues.
• Good numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to organize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple assignments.
• Ability to maintain the confidentiality of financial and company information.
• Good understanding of internal controls and financial documentation requirements.
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and coordinate effectively with the Finance team and other departments.
