Technical Security Specialist – TK Maxx (Loss Prevention)

The Technical Security Specialist plays a key role within TK Maxx’s Loss Prevention function, responsible for delivering all technical and physical security projects across the business. The purpose of the role is to protect people, assets, and the TK Maxx brand by designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security systems across Spain and potentially other  European locations.

This is a field‑based role with up to 50% travel, requiring strong project management capability, advanced technical expertise, and the ability to influence and collaborate with a wide range of internal and external partners.

The Specialist leads security system design, installation, upgrades, and health checks across CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, intercoms, and related technologies—particularly those on the Genetec platform. They also manage vendor relationships, support day‑to‑day system performance, ensure compliance with local legislation, and drive innovation through trials, upgrades, and new technology assessments.

Success in this role requires a blend of technical security knowledge, IT networking understanding, project leadership, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving, along with the ability to communicate complex information clearly to non‑technical audiences.
