Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to optimize the Production organization’s assembly methods, processes, and equipment to minimize labor hours in accordance with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs, and safety. Each day, you will ensure appropriate production methods, cycle time, equipment performance, and materials/components in support of production targets. You will also showcase your expertise by defining the working phase sequence of a new production process to achieve the targeted product cost and equipment investment budget.

This role is contributing to the EL Smart Power business in Xiamen China.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Defines the working phase sequence of a new production process to achieve the targeted product cost and equipment investment budget.
• Ensures appropriate production methods, cycle time, equipment performance, and materials/components in support of production targets.
• Identifies and recommend improvement opportunities and implements improvement projects, ensuring adherence to timeframe, quality, and cost requirements.
• Ensures the production process complies with the project targets.
• Approves the design for processes developed internally or externally and performs final tests with respect to the project.
• Provides support to Production during the internal/external process/equipment start-up, defining action plans and training relevant maintenance and production resources.
• Evaluates new process technologies to improve productivity, quality, and cost reduction, defining and leading testing activities, approval criteria, and external provider choices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect and analyze equipment functional requirements, including production efficiency, precision, safety, and cost targets.
• Develop equipment development plans and technical schemes, including process design, Layout design, mechanical structure design, electrical System, IT structure design.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering. industrial engineer
• 5 years of relevant work experience in Lean production, process optimization, or new product/process development (experience in ACB & MCCB area is a plus).
• Ability to Design and lead the automation line, equipment planning, development & responsible for technical evaluation.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and PFMEA tools.
• Be fluent in both written and spoken English
• Leadership on change management
• Good collaborating skills, problem-solving Skill
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work under pressure to meet tight project deadlines.
