About the Company
We are a rapidly growing, doctor-led HealthTech company (11–50 employees) headquartered in Munich, dedicated to modernizing and securing the future of primary care in Germany. By combining medical excellence with scalable, proprietary AI technology, we relieve physicians of administrative burdens and streamline clinical operations, allowing healthcare professionals to focus entirely on patient care.
To expand our nationwide network of outpatient GP practices and medical care centers (MVZs), we are seeking an experienced and empathetic M&A Manager to drive transaction execution end-to-end.
Your Role & Responsibilities
As an M&A Manager, you will take full ownership of nationwide practice acquisition deals—from initial lead engagement through to final signing—working closely with physician sellers, external advisors, and senior executive leadership.
- Full Deal Ownership: Source and acquire GP practices and general-medicine MVZs across Germany, leading negotiations directly with physician sellers (primarily working with warm leads).
- End-to-End Execution: Manage the complete transaction lifecycle and execute multiple concurrent deals without compromising signing timelines or success rates.
- Due Diligence & Deal Structuring: Coordinate external M&A teams across Legal, Commercial, and Financial Due Diligence while collaborating with internal Finance to build robust business cases.
- Board & Executive Reporting: Prepare detailed financial models, business cases, and presentation materials for Executive Management and Board approval.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and nurture trust-based, long-term relationships with physician sellers, brokers, and key healthcare stakeholders.
Candidate Profile
Must-Haves
- Experience: 3–4+ years of hands-on M&A transaction experience within a high-performance environment (Start-up, Private Equity, Management Consulting, Corporate M&A, or Investment Banking).
- Track Record: Proven ability to structure, negotiate, and close transactions, managing multiple deal pipelines simultaneously.
- Language Skills: Professional fluency in German (C1 minimum) and English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Interpersonal Skills: High emotional intelligence and empathy required to communicate effectively with physician practice owners.
- Education: Master's degree (M.Sc., M.A., MBA, or equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Tech Proficiency: Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Nice-to-Haves
- Prior deal experience within the healthcare sector, specifically outpatient care, GP practices, or MVZs.
What We Offer
- High Responsibility & Impact: Complete deal autonomy with direct visibility in Management and Board reporting, contributing directly to reforming primary healthcare in Germany.
- Attractive Compensation: Base salary range of €60,000 – €120,000 gross/year (commensurate with experience) plus performance-based bonus and company participation via Genussrechte.
- Growth & Learning: Steep learning curve in a scaling HealthTech environment, cross-functional collaboration, and a personalized annual learning budget.
- Work-Life Balance: 30 vacation days per year, flexible hybrid model (1 home-office day per week), and discounted Wellpass membership.
- Vibrant Team Culture: Transparent communication, regular team events, fresh office snacks, and an open, empathetic team environment based in Munich.
