Looking for a hands-on role where you can learn, grow, and build your maintenance skills? MMS is hiring a Maintenance Technician I to join our team in East Peoria. This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical aptitude who enjoys problem-solving and wants to develop a long-term career in industrial maintenance.

A Day in the Life

No two days are the same. You'll work alongside experienced technicians while:

• Inspecting and maintaining equipment
• Troubleshooting basic mechanical and electrical issues
• Performing preventive maintenance to keep equipment running
• Replacing common wear parts like belts, filters, and fuses
• Responding to maintenance requests throughout the facility
• Using hand and power tools to complete repairs
• Documenting work orders in the maintenance system
• Helping maintain a safe, clean, and organized workplace

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• 0-2 years of maintenance, mechanical, manufacturing, or related experience
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or HVAC systems
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Team player with good communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in an industrial environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical training or certifications
• Experience with preventive maintenance
• Familiarity with CMMS systems
• Ability to read basic schematics, manuals, or work orders
