  • Serve as a technical and operational leader for configuration-related practices across Steam Turbine and Generator product lines.

  • Ensure configuration methods support scalable, repeatable, and business-aligned execution across New Units, Gas Services, and Steam Services.

Digital Thread Integration

  • Strengthen the digital thread by connecting engineering, configuration, manufacturing, supply chain, and order management processes.

  • Ensure data continuity and traceability across existing systems and workflows.

  • Identify gaps, dependencies, and opportunities to improve connectivity between product definition, plant execution, and customer commitments.

Data Structuring and Governance

  • Establish and govern product and order data structures required to support configuration management across multiple plants.

  • Standardize naming conventions, configuration logic, and data flows to improve consistency and usability.

  • Promote data quality and master data discipline across functions and regions.

Advanced Order Management

  • Support the development and execution of advanced order management processes for New Units, Gas Services, and Steam Services.

  • Align order management requirements with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial needs.

  • Improve visibility, accuracy, and control of order-related data and configuration inputs.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Act as the central coordination point across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, IT, Finance, and Commercial teams.

  • Influence stakeholders across North America and Europe to align on configuration standards and business priorities.

  • Drive decisions that balance operational feasibility, customer requirements, and configuration integrity.

Transformation and Change Leadership

  • Lead change efforts associated with configuration management process improvements, digital adoption, and cross-functional alignment.

  • Partner with plant and functional leaders to support adoption of standard processes and connected workflows.

  • Identify risks, dependencies, and implementation barriers and drive mitigation plans.

Operational Excellence

  • Identify opportunities to simplify workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve configuration accuracy.

  • Drive standardization and repeatability in configuration-related processes across sites.

  • Use metrics and governance to measure progress, quality, and business impact.

Technology and Process Partnership

  • Partner with IT and digital teams to define requirements for existing and future system capabilities that support configuration management.

  • Ensure systems and process architecture support scalable and sustainable configuration practices.

  • Influence digital solutions that improve end-to-end integration without assuming ownership of ERP deployment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in an engineering field from an accredited university or college

  • At least 10 years of experience in Configuration Management, Systems Engineering, Product Structure Management, or related disciplines in a complex industrial environment

Eligibility Requirements:
