BASIC PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
This role supports the Field Quality Improvement function by analyzing market quality performance, driving corrective and preventive actions, and working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to enhance product quality and consumer satisfaction.
The position bridges field quality data analytics and supplier quality execution, ensuring that lessons learned from the market are effectively translated into NPD, supplier management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities cover:
1. Field Quality Data Analysis & Monitoring
- Analyze field quality data from multiple channels:
- Product return rate
- Consumer reviews and ratings
- BU Feedback
- Identify key trends, failure modes, and emerging risks
- Support development and tracking of field quality performance
- Generate regular dashboards and insights reports
2. Root Cause Analysis & Issue Resolution
- Lead or support investigation of field quality issues using:

- Coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional teams on containment and corrective actions
- Track effectiveness of corrective actions and ensure closure
3. Supplier Quality Improvement
- Work with QE/SQE teams and suppliers to drive quality improvement initiatives
- Monitor supplier performance and identify capability gaps
- Conduct quarterly supplier capability evaluation and follow up on improvements
4. NPD / NPI support
- Feed field quality lessons learned into New Product Development
- In Concept Phase (New product category, Off-the-shelf, New supplier qualification), using AI to conduct Consumer quality expectation and quality benchmarking
- Support pre-launch activities such as consumer simulation tests (ABT) where applicable
5. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with BU Quality, Engineering, Customer Service, and sourcing teams
- Align quality improvement priorities with business needs
- Support communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Education, Qualification and training
· Technical College graduate in engineering (Electrical/ Electronic/Mechanical/Industrial) or equivalent
Experience or skills required
· 5 years relevant experience in quality or engineering
· Experience in supplier management / development
· Product experience in electrical appliances, electronics or consumer products
· Effective problem solving, root cause analytical skills to lead and influence others to drive change
· Ability to work in highly competing industrial environment, with strong desire to WIN ; Ability to drive and lead changes
· Good personal leadership & be self-initiative ; strong analytical, problem solving, coaching, interpersonal & communication skills
· Exposure to supplier management or manufacturing environment
· Good reporting skill
· Good English and Chinese communication
Specialized knowledge or skills required
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Hands-on experience in quality tools: 8D, RCA, FMEA, Control Plan, SPC
· Data-driven mindset with ability to interpret trends and insights
· Good collaboration and stakeholder management skills
· Self-driven with strong ownership and execution capability
· Effective communication in English and Chinese
