This Change Expert (Change Expert VII) role within CoE Risk Advisory team in Global Retail offers you the opportunity to contribute to the Retail Banking growth ambition by owning: 
(a)    the overall responsibility of steering change from business perspective for all Compliance and non-financial risk matters relevant for Business Banking (BB) and Private Individuals (PI) segments and related products, as well as
(b)    domain expert responsibility within retail business line at global level for Compliance (KYC focus) and NFR (PARP focus) across all retail segments 
It requires to master a combination of business, legal, risk & regulatory and data & systems knowledge as well as strategic thinking, hands-on change management and practical delivery in a complex multi-stakeholder environment.

The team

You will be part of CoE Risk Advisory team within the Global Retail organization, reporting directly to the Head of CoE Risk Advisory. Our team includes experts on various risk domains working in autonomy, dynamically and flexibly to stay a step ahead of the changing business and regulatory environments. 

Roles and responsibilities

Main responsibilities in this role are:
•    Overall responsible and steering change for all BB and PI compliance and non-financial risk matters, managing the engagement with relevant stakeholders; ensure that strategic dimensions, such as strategic risk framing, governance clarity, global product scalability are properly addressed for the segments
•    Act as domain expert and ensure global steering for KYC and PARP related risk topics across all retail segments
•    Stay ahead of internal & external developments and advise management on impact and required next steps
•    Ensure “compliant by design” solutions, with specific attention on the complex regulatory landscape (e.g. AMLR)
•    Challenge and advice on 1st LoD proposals for relevant risk topics and facilitate alignment with global 2nd LoD 
•    Ensure representation in all related global initiatives, steering change for risk topics by considering business interests and aligning with senior stakeholders across end-to-end value chain
•    Overview and follow-up on progress and deliverables for risk topics within these initiatives
•    Co-design solutions to meet regulatory requirements and business related objectives
•    Identify, evaluate and prioritize change needs/opportunities and translate them into concrete initiatives and action plans
•    Facilitate knowledge and best practice sharing across countries and various central functions

•    Minimum requirements:
•    Cross domain experience, specifically previous roles in Business (within BB/PI teams), Legal, Compliance/ NFR and Operations domains 
•    Experience in managing from FO perspective (BB and PI) complex transformation projects regarding scalable solutions and regulatory changes for retail client segments (particularly direct involvement in system and solution design for KYC processes e.g. KYCO), involving multiple stakeholders
•    Both local and global experience, including people management positions
•    University degree in Law 
•    Good understanding of BB and PI client segments, products and processes as well as key risks within Compliance and NFR domains
•    Solid understanding of the ING organization, governance and system landscape 
•    Strategic mindset, excellent communicator – ability to make complex simple and convey a concise message to stakeholders with very diverse backgrounds 
•    Strong stakeholder management skills and organizational sensitivity to act within complex stakeholder environments 
•    Organized, can provide structure and timely delivery. Strong sense of responsibility
