Medical Oncology Physician

Job Description:

About this role: 

As a Medical Oncologist you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. Our Cancer Center at Good Samaritan Hospital is part of a larger group of centers across our 4 hospitals in the Denver and surrounding areas. So, you would be a part of team of oncologists collaborating across sites to care for patients, but based at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, CO.  

• Clinic hours are Mon-Fri 8am – 5pm. Our oncologists work 40 hours on a 4 day week. 
• You’ll be on call ~1:8 for all locations; Good Samaritan Medical Center, Platte Valley Medical Center, Lutheran Medical Center, and Saint Joseph Hospital Call is typically very light

Compensation:  

• Base Salary: $576,015 
• wRVU Production Incentive in addition to base compensation 
• Paid Call Coverage: $450 per weeknight call shift $1,890 per weekend call shift Call compensation begins with the first call shift 

Recruitment Incentives 

• Competitive sign-on bonus, commensurate with experience 
• Relocation assistance for qualified candidates 
• Fellowship stipends available for eligible trainees 

What you’ll bring: 

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine 
• Residency training in Internal Medicine 
• Board certification or eligibility in Medical Oncology  
• Active, unobstructed Colorado medical license, or the ability to obtain one 
• Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA, or the ability to obtain one 
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process 
• We are not able to accept candidates requiring Visa sponsorship at this time
