Description
This is a unique opportunity to shape and strengthen global product safety in a business where compliance, customer trust, and responsible product stewardship are critical to success. In this role, you will combine deep technical expertise with broad business impact, helping the organization navigate an increasingly complex global regulatory landscape for Safety Data Sheets, classification and labelling, chemical legislation, and dangerous goods requirements.
This position is part of the Solutions business (Solco) within Animal Nutrition & Health (ANH). This is one of the two standalone entities to be created from ANH, as part of the divestment to CVC Capital.
Salary range depending on qualification for AT: 62.300 EUR – 78.000 EUR base/year/gross
Salary range depending on qualification for NL: 62.100 EUR – 82.200 EUR base/year/gross
Your key responsibilities
- Support of the business to comply with the global legislation regarding Safety Datasheets (SDS) and classification & labelling (GHS)
- Provide expertise in product safety data, hazard and dangerous goods classification, ensuring compliant and consistent practice
- Provide technical requirements and systems settings for implementation of regulatory content for global use related to product safety and dangerous goods, fulfilling the Group HSE requirements concerning product stewardship
- Translate the regulatory requirements into requirements for automatic classification in systems (algorithms) and train & support the organization on proper application/use with focus on SAP EHS
- Support other functions by making the data owned by team product stewardship available for broader use, e.g., health risk assessment, process safety assessment, and reporting
- Support the Global team on Sustainability reporting e.g.: substances of concern

You Bring
- Education as chemist or other natural science (bachelor or master degree)
- 2+ years of experience in field of classification & labelling and SDS
- Additional knowledge/experience in other relevant discipline will be highly appreciated e.g., industrial hygiene, (eco)toxicology, chemical legislation, data analytics
- Expertise in global hazard communication regulations, including GHS, CLPS, REACH and classification of dangerous goods requirements
- A strong analytical mindset, with natural curiosity to understand how processes and systems work
- Fast and effective problem solver, able to analyze situations quickly and implement practical solutions.
