We are looking for a Gardener to join our team at Tennis World ACT on a casual basis.

About the role

In this role you will:

  • Assist in landscaping and general garden maintenance that includes grass mowing, hedging and snipping, plant propagation and garden bed mulching.
  • Provide friendly, professional and efficient customer service.
  • Be familiar with handheld power equipment (Blower, Hedge Trimmer, Whipper Snipper etc.).
  • Have strong attention to detail, pride in your work and ownership of tasks.
  • A knowledge of workplace health and safety policies and procedures.


About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • An understanding of environmental conditions impacting tennis courts
  • Previous experience and expertise in grounds keeping or gardening
  • Knowledge of repairs, maintenance and horticulture
  • High level of organisational skills with attention to detail
  • The ability to use motorised equipment, e.g. lawn mower, hand tools
  • Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check.
  • Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Australia.
