Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for a Dispute Specialist to join our ever evolving Dispute Management team within Global Payments Europe and help shape the future of global commerce.
What you’ll own
- Manage dispute and chargeback cases throughout the resolution process, ensuring compliance with card scheme rules and internal procedures
- Prepare supporting documentation for arbitration and compliance cases related to card payment disputes
- Communicate with merchants and customers regarding dispute and chargeback investigations and resolutions
- Identify, escalate, and monitor complex or high-risk dispute cases, providing recommendations to mitigate potential financial exposure
- Collaborate with Finance and other internal teams on debt recovery processes and risk management activities, including maintaining risk classifications within internal systems
What you’ll bring
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex payment and dispute scenarios
- Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Strong customer-focused mindset and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Fluent Czech and English communication skills, both written and spoken
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Word and Excel, along with Google Workspace applications
It’s a bonus if you have
- Experience in financial services, payments, banking, or merchant acquiring environments
- Knowledge of card acceptance processes, card scheme regulations, and payment-related risk management
- German language skills
Additional requirements
- Secondary school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage time-sensitive cases
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and compliance
- Interest in developing expertise in card payments, dispute management, and risk processes within a global payments organization
