We invite Hematology/Oncology APPs to discover all that we can do when we bring healing hearts, inquisitive minds and progressive visionaries together at our Ambulatory Hematology/Oncology Clinic team at Levine Cancer in Huntersville, NC.
Position Description:
· Outpatient, Infusion center
· Full-time (40 hours)
· Day shift, Four 10 hours shifts, 8 am- 6 pm Monday- Friday
· No nights, weekends, or call
· May perform bone marrow biopsies in an outpatient setting
Position Qualifications:
· Graduation from an accredited NP program. Current license to practice as a NP in North Carolina.
o Current prescriptive privileges and DEA license required. BLS for healthcare provider from AHA required.
· Nurse practitioners are required to have a master’s degree or doctorate in nursing practice.
· At least 1 year of experience preferred as an APP. Hematology/Oncology experience preferred but not required.
· Demonstrates appropriate critical thinking and interpersonal skills when working in a fast paced, high acuity work environment. Able to perform thorough history and physical assessment. Able to work with multidisciplinary team.
