Shop Drawing Detailer & CNC Programmer

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Compensation: $40-$48/hour + Benefits

Our client is a well-established architectural millwork company based in Toronto. They pride themselves on building some of Ontario’s most in demand architectural millwork pieces. They have been in operation for over 30 years and always ensure that they provide their clients with exceptional craftsmanship and uncompromising quality.

They are expanding at a rapid rate and are seeking to add a Shop Drawing Detailer & CNC Programmer to their dynamic team!

Responsibilities:

• Transform architectural drawings, design intent, and field dimensions into highly accurate production-ready shop drawings and CNC programs
• Develop complete production-ready shop drawings
• Prepare detailed production plans including sections, hardware layouts and installation details
• Ensure every drawing includes complete dimensions, tolerances and finished panel locations
• Create efficient CNC machining programs for production using Mozaik (or equivalent software)
• Collaborate daily with Project Managers, Estimators and Production Manager
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in custom millwork
• Experience working with Mozaik CNC Software, AutoCAD Cabinet Vision (considered to be an asset)
• Strong understanding of AWMAC Standards and commercial and residential millwork
• Possess advanced knowledge of cabinet construction methods and CNC tooling
• Superior problem solving skills
