Who We Are Looking For

We're seeking RNs with strong, recent PICC placement experience for full-time Vascular Access Nurse Consultant roles. PICC experience is required.

As a Vascular Access Nurse Consultant, you'll work collaboratively with our customers' clinical teams to resolve venous access issues and support treatment objectives set by the treating physician. Depending on the referral, you may work inside or outside the hospital setting — giving you a unique opportunity to see different treatment protocols and patient challenges across care settings.

If you're looking for a change from 12-hour shifts on your feet or rushing between patients with no time for quality care, this role offers a different pace and focus.

What You'll Do

  • Place PICCs, midlines, and peripheral IVs using ultrasound guidance
  • Utilize ECG technology for PICC tip confirmation
  • Assist with management of PICCs and other vascular access devices
  • Provide vascular access support services including port access, line removal, and declotting
  • Educate facility nursing staff on PICCs, midlines, and other CVADs

Schedule

  • Full-time: 36–48 hours/week across 3–4 shifts per week, including weekend and holiday rotation (specific days assigned based on business needs)
  • Per Diem: Minimum of 32 hours/month across 4 shifts, with availability to pick up additional shifts as needed. Per Diem opportunities are available for experienced PICC Nurses only and potential participation in weekend and holiday rotation.
  • Consultants travel to customer facilities as assigned; scheduling requirements vary by job classification

Benefits

  • Health & Wellness: Medical, vision, and dental benefits begin the 1st of the month after 30 days of employment.
  • 401(k): Eligible to contribute to the Company's 401(k) plan.
  • Company Vehicle: A Company vehicle is provided for work-related travel when available; if unavailable, personal vehicle use is reimbursed at the standard IRS mileage rate.
  • Gas Card: Provided for fuel expenses when using a Company vehicle.
  • Technology Reimbursement: $15 per pay period for work-related use of personal technology devices.
  • Paid Time Off & Sick Leave: Provided in accordance with Company policy.

Additional Requirements

  • Must have a smartphone for scheduling and documentation
  • Comfort working independently across varied clinical settings

Compensation is based on candidate experience and relevant certifications.

Hourly Pay Range
$50$70 USD
