In the role of External Customer Part Fulfillment Leader, you will lead a team of full-time employees and contractors responsible for managing external customer orders from entry through delivery, billing, and closure. You will play a critical role in supporting the world's energy infrastructure, ensuring that our customers receive the essential components required to maintain safe, reliable, and efficient power generation operations. By partnering across the organization to deliver on our customer commitments, you will resolve complex fulfillment challenges, leverage digital insights to mitigate supply chain risks, and drive a culture of continuous improvement and exceptional customer experience.Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
- Lead the External Customer Fulfillment team responsible for order management, customer communication, delivery execution, billing and issue resolution
- Drive strong partnerships with Operations, Planning, Sourcing, Logistics, Finance, Commercial and Technical teams to meet customer and contractual commitments
- Serve as the primary leadership escalation point for customer inquiries, complaints, delivery risks and fulfillment issues, driving timely communication and resolution
- Identify fulfillment constraints, establish recovery plans and hold cross-functional teams accountable for executing actions and restoring customer commitments
- Leverage digital tools and data analytics to provide real-time visibility into order status, proactively identify supply chain risks and drive continuous process improvements
- Own accountability for key performance indicators and targets, including on-time delivery, past-due backlog, billing, collections and customer satisfaction
- Establish standard work and operating rhythms to improve visibility, execution, accountability and overall customer experience
- Set priorities for the External Customer Fulfillment team and drive the People Performance and Growth cycles to promote talent development, growth and accountability within the organization
- Manage team capacity, workload, contractor performance and resource allocation in alignment with customer and business priorities
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Customer Fulfillment, Order Management, Services Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Project Management or a related customer-facing function
- Minimum of 2 years of experience leading employees, contractors, projects or cross-functional teams
- Requires approximately 10% travel, including customer and operational site visits
Desired Characteristics:
- Demonstrated experience leading, coaching and developing full-time employees and contractors; proven ability to lead a blended team of direct reports and contractors, fostering a unified culture of accountability and high performance.
- Experience managing complex customer orders, service agreements or contractual commitments
- Strong customer orientation with demonstrated experience managing escalations and building trusted customer relationships
- Knowledge of order fulfillment processes, including order entry, material planning, logistics, delivery, billing and collections
- Experience within power generation, energy, industrial services, manufacturing or a similar technical industry
- Demonstrated application of structured problem-solving methodologies and Lean principles
- Advanced business, engineering, supply chain or related degree
- Demonstrated project-management and process-improvement skills; ability to influence others and lead cross-functional teams.
- Flexibility in handling a diverse and challenging workload with the ability to coordinate multiple customers, orders and priorities simultaneously
- Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and global team environment
- Proven analytical, organizational and effective problem-identification skills

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $119,600.00 and $199,400.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
