Description

Be responsible for financial planning, results analysis, forecasting, and providing support to Commercial, Retail, Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Operations areas, ensuring greater financial predictability and identifying opportunities to increase business profitability. In addition to strong analytical skills, the role requires an innovative professional with a solid command of technology, Business Intelligence, and Artificial Intelligence, capable of automating analyses, developing executive dashboards, and generating insights to support leadership decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning
• Lead the annual budgeting process, forecasting, and periodic financial reviews.
• Prepare short-, medium-, and long-term financial projections.
• Consolidate financial information from various company areas.
• Develop financial scenarios and sensitivity analyses to support decision-making.
Financial Performance
• Continuously monitor the company's financial results, comparing actuals against the budget and forecast.
• Identify variances, investigate root causes, and recommend action plans.
• Prepare executive presentations for the Board and headquarters, translating figures into strategic recommendations.
• Develop and track financial and operational KPIs.
Business Partnering
• Act as a financial partner to the Commercial, Retail, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Operations areas.
• Support managers in decision-making through clear, objective financial analysis.
• Translate complex financial information into language accessible to business areas.
• Participate in the financial evaluation of new projects, commercial campaigns, store openings, and strategic initiatives.
Retail Performance
• Analyze profitability by store, region, sales channel, product category, and brand.
• Conduct profitability studies and support decisions regarding the product portfolio.
• Identify opportunities to improve margins and operational efficiency. Expense Control
• Monitor the company's operating expenses.
• Track costs related to store operations, logistics, inventory, marketing, and administrative expenses.
• Support managers in developing cost optimization plans without compromising business performance.
Interface with Merchandising
• Act as a financial partner to the Merchandising department.
• Translate the financial impact of commercial and portfolio strategies.
• Understand cost structure and pricing logic to support financial analysis, without being involved in product registration or data entry operations.
Business Intelligence and Innovation
• Develop executive dashboards in Power BI.
• Automate reports and processes using Business Intelligence tools.
• Leverage Artificial Intelligence to boost productivity, generate predictive analyses, and automate financial processes.
• Continuously seek new technologies to enhance the efficiency of the FP&A function.
• Propose improvements to processes, KPIs, and financial analysis models.
Governance and Continuous Improvement
• Ensure the quality, reliability, and consistency of financial information.
• Standardize KPIs and analysis methodologies.
• Participate in financial transformation and continuous improvement projects.
• Serve as a technical authority for the organization's financial analysis.
