Validation Manager
 

You will lead validation activities that ensure safe, compliant, and reliable manufacturing systems. You will work closely with engineering, quality, operations, and external suppliers to plan and deliver qualification and validation projects. We value practical problem-solving, clear communication, and a focus on continuous improvement. This role will help you grow technically and as a leader while contributing to GSK’s mission of uniting science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together.

Responsibilities:

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

- Lead planning, execution and closure of equipment, process, and computer system validations to meet regulatory and quality expectations.

- Prepare validation plans, protocols, reports, and risk assessments that are clear, inspection-ready and evidence-based.

- Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, production, IT) and external vendors to deliver validation deliverables on time.

- Maintain and improve validation lifecycle documentation, change control impact assessments and re-validation strategies.

- Support root cause investigations and corrective/preventive actions when validation deviations occur.

- Train and coach site staff on validation principles, data integrity and inspection readiness.

Why you?

Basic Qualification

We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Pharmacy, Science or a related technical discipline.

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in validation within a regulated manufacturing environment.

- Practical knowledge of equipment, process and/or computerized system validation principles.

- Experience writing and reviewing validation plans, protocols and reports.

- Strong stakeholder management and teamwork skills in cross-functional or matrix settings.

- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualification:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

- Experience with pharmaceutical manufacturing operations in sterile or aseptic environments.

- Familiarity with regulatory expectations for data integrity and computerized system validation (CSV).

- Certification or training in validation, quality, or risk management methodologies.

- Hands-on experience with commissioning and qualification of process equipment or automated systems.

- Experience with project management tools and techniques.

- Prior experience working with external vendors and supplier qualification.

Working arrangement

This role is on-site at our Egypt location. You will work closely with site teams and occasional travel to supplier or other sites may be required
