The position is for a full-time foreign medical graduate for a physician extender role.
Practice a Neurology, Physical Medicine, ad Orthopedics Practice with multiple locations in Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Staten Island, and Long Island.

Practice a Neurology, Physical Medicine, ad Orthopedics Practice with multiple locations in Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Staten Island, and Long Island.
About the Job:
- Physician Extender who will be responsible for assisting with clinical work and seeing patients.
- The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, and ability to complete charts without errors.
Specifics:
- Covering clinic days 20 days a month.
- Total number of days worked depend on ability to travel and cover multiple clinic locations.
- Clinical hours are 9AM - 6PM.
- Outpatient only.
Physician Extender Responsibilities:
- Seeing consults and follow ups.
- Obtaining and recording patient medical histories, test results, and other information for medical records while maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Coordinating the daily administrative activities, including completing paperwork for patients requested by insurance/work letters/school letters, etc.
- Finishing all clinical notes with accuracy, same day as the clinic visit.
- Helping with patient call backs and developing treatment plans.
Requirements for Physician Extender:
- Highly motivated
- Willingness to learn
- Speed with documentation and history taking
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Excellent writing skills
- Must be comfortable with EMR.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
- Prior experience with taking a medical history, scribing encounters efficiently, and completing medical documentation/paperwork is preferred.
- Must have graduate medical degree.
- Must be legally allowed to work in NYS (e.g. active work visa, or US citizen, etc.)

We offer a competitive salary with a yearly increase. We do not offer a benefits package or a health insurance coverage.
