Work on financial decisions that matter at global scale

How does a global technology company fund its operations, manage liquidity measured in tens of billions, and help customers finance major infrastructure investments?

As a Summer Intern in Ericsson Group Treasury, you will work with experienced finance professionals on real financial and commercial questions. You will gain exposure to corporate finance, financial markets and international transactions while contributing to projects that support Ericsson’s global business.

You will join one of our Group Treasury teams and, depending on priorities, may rotate between teams. You will receive support from experienced colleagues while being expected to take ownership, ask thoughtful questions and turn analysis into clear conclusions.

About Ericsson Group Treasury

Group Treasury manages Ericsson’s liquidity, funding, financial and insurable risks, payment infrastructure, and customer and trade finance solutions. We operate under a mandate from the Board and work closely with senior management and business leaders across the Group.

Group Treasury consists of approximately 100 professionals representing 30 nationalities and operates across three key areas:

Corporate Finance

• Shape capital allocation and funding strategy.
• Manage external funding, including bonds.
• Plan and execute shareholder distributions, including share buybacks.
• Manage bank and credit-rating-agency relationships.
• Prepare analysis and decision material for senior management and the Board.

Internal Bank & Markets

• Manage liquidity and short-term investments.
• Manage foreign-exchange and interest-rate risks.
• Monitor markets and counterparty exposures.
• Evaluate and execute financial transactions.

Export Finance

• Develop financing solutions that enable major customer transactions.
• Manage letters of credit and bank guarantees.
• Support customer financing arrangements.
• Work with export-credit-supported financing.
• Develop risk-sharing and transaction-specific solutions.

What you will do

• Conduct financial, market or company analysis.
• Prepare decision material and presentations.
• Evaluate funding, liquidity, risk-management or financing alternatives.
• Research market developments and transaction structures.
• Work with Treasury specialists and colleagues across Ericsson.
• Present conclusions and recommendations to Treasury management and the wider Treasury community.
• Contribute to real assignments and strategic change initiatives.

The skills you bring

• Currently studying finance, business administration, economics, engineering or another relevant field.
• Ideally completed at least two to three years of university studies and currently in your fourth year.
• Strong interest in corporate finance, financial markets or international business.
• Curious, collaborative, accurate and comfortable taking responsibility.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to structure complex questions and communicate conclusions clearly.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Proficiency in Excel and an interest in AI, Power BI and other digital tools.
• Previous experience in finance, accounting, treasury, banking, consulting or a related field is an advantage, but not a requirement.
• Strong motivation, intellectual curiosity and the ability to learn quickly.
