We are currently seeking a driven, self-starter to lead recruiting for Yellowstone National Park.
The Talent Supervisor will be responsible for the recruitment of supervisor, management, and line level positions, ensure appropriate staffing levels are achieved at locations, drive talent initiatives for their location, and oversee the execution of talent strategies. You will need to build strong relationships with stakeholders to understand location specific talent objectives and challenges
This position is a hybrid role and based in our Denver corporate office working three days a week in the office and two days remotely.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with department and property leaders.
- Balance speed and quality of hire while maintaining a positive candidate experience.
- Lead job activities to ensure property hiring needs are met, including meeting or exceeding interview goals.
- Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to determine skills and qualifications. Update job descriptions and requisitions as needed.
- Ensure all job postings provide an accurate description, and brand templates are utilized correctly.
- Provide additional solutions for hard-to-fill and high-priority positions.
- Screen and interview hourly and salary positions.
- Create and initiate assessment tests for applicable roles.
- Coordinate next steps with hiring managers.
- Create and extend offers. Ensure accuracy of job specifications including wages.
- Lead and support a Talent Coordinator, Talent Specialist, and Seasonal Talent Specialist(s)
- Train and develop position skills.
- Determine workflows.
- Measure productivity and effectiveness.
- Provide up-to-date interview guides and additional recruiting tools.
- Ensure data integrity in applicant tracking system by following established workflow guidelines.
- Partner with marketing to determine and drive advertising opportunities.
- Manage job advertisements per budget.
- Assist in the forecasting, planning and hiring of international recruiting initiatives, as applicable.
- Lead Talent meetings with property leaders and corporate stakeholders.
- Develop and report on talent metrics to drive business decisions.
- Conduct interview audits and shadow interviews as appropriate.
- Manage the staffing guide and other relevant tracking documents as required.
- Participate in virtual or on-site hiring events as needed.
- Partner with location to determine hiring manager training needs and conduct training as needed.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience as a people manager or supervisor
- 2-3 years of experience in recruiting, preferably at a management level in hospitality or similar industry
- Experience with applicant tracking system and integrated systems
- Proficient in MS Office Suite with exceptional Excel skills
- BA/BS Degree or equivalent work experience
COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position is $62,000 - $68,000.
