Miami / Fort Lauderdale
We manage vacation rental properties in the Miami and Fort Lauderdale markets and are hiring a General Manager to oversee our South Florida operations. This role combines property operations and business development, with responsibility for both the performance of the existing portfolio and its growth.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations including vendor and cleaner scheduling, turnovers, maintenance coordination, and property inspections.
- Manage guest communications from booking through checkout, including after-hours issues.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for property owners, including monthly reporting, performance reviews, and contract renewals.
- Set pricing and occupancy strategy in coordination with the corporate team.
- Identify and pursue new property owners to expand the portfolio.
- Maintain quality standards and guest review performance across all units.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in vacation rental management, property management, or real estate.
- Demonstrated experience in both operations and sales or business development.
- Established professional network in the South Florida market, or the ability to build one quickly.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with property management software and listing platforms including Airbnb and VRBO.
- Spanish fluency.
- Existing vendor and contractor relationships in Miami-Dade or Broward County.
Compensation:
Base salary commensurate with experience, plus large commission potential on new properties added to the portfolio.
