Your Role on Our Team:
As a QA Engineer – Oracle Integration Testing, you will be responsible for validating enterprise integrations across Oracle Fusion, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), APIs, and connected business systems. You will play a key role in ensuring data accuracy, transaction integrity, and reliable end-to-end business process execution across enterprise applications.
You will work closely with developers, functional analysts, product owners, and integration engineers to identify defects early, validate complex business scenarios, and support high-quality software delivery.
You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute test scenarios for Oracle Fusion and enterprise integrations.
- Perform end-to-end integration testing across Oracle Fusion, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), APIs, EDI transactions, and external applications.
- Validate inbound and outbound interface data, ensuring accurate processing across systems.
- Perform backend database validation using SQL queries.
- Test REST and SOAP APIs using tools such as Postman or similar API testing platforms.
- Validate JSON and XML payloads for accuracy, completeness, and business rule compliance.
- Analyze business requirements, interface mappings, and technical design documents to identify test scenarios and edge cases.
- Execute System Integration Testing (SIT), regression testing, and release validation activities.
- Investigate integration failures and assist in root cause analysis through log reviews and transaction validation.
- Document defects with clear reproduction steps and business impact details.
- Collaborate with developers and functional teams to validate defect fixes and ensure complete test coverage.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, refinement sessions, and retrospectives.
- Support quarterly Oracle Fusion release validation and production readiness activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
The TOOLS you'll bring with you:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with a focus on Integration Testing.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and defect management processes.
- Hands-on experience with backend testing and database validation.
- Strong SQL skills for querying and validating application data.
- Experience testing REST and/or SOAP APIs.
- Experience validating JSON and XML payloads.
- Test automation with any programming language is required.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify data discrepancies.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Other TOOLS we prefer you to have:
- Experience working with Oracle Fusion applications.
- Knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Understanding of enterprise integration concepts and middleware platforms.
- Familiarity with EDI transactions such as 850, 856, and 810 is value added.
- Knowledge of Oracle Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) business processes.
- Exposure to integration monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Basic TOSCA automation testing experience is a plus.
