Position Summary
The Perinatal Ultrasonographer is responsible for performing obstetrical ultrasound procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. This position works under limited supervision, independently performing ultrasonographic procedures. Procedures performed require independent judgement, initiative, and ingenuity.Requirements:
- Satisfactory completion of a DMS Program, or currently enrolled and passed OB Registry
- Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers within one month of hire Nuchal Transluscency (NT) certification through the NTQR (Nuchal Translucency Quality Review) preferred
- Previous experience as a High Risk OB Ultrasonographer, or Nuchal Transluscency (NT) certification in lieu of experience
- Current BLS Certification
