As a Cardiac Specialist, you will contribute to the collection and processing of electrocardiogram (ECG) and other cardiac safety data that help advance life-changing therapies. What You'll Be Doing
Perform interval duration and rate measurements on digital and paper ECGs according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Evaluate, place, and adjust calipers on digital ECGs using approved measurement methodologies.
Utilize validated software to convert PNG images into XML files and verify conversion accuracy through waveform assessment.
Accurately calibrate PDF image scaling to collect measurements from paper ECGs.
Process cardiac data from continuous Holter recordings.
Extract timepoint-specific 12-lead ECGs and export XML files to designated databases for IDM measurement.
Evaluate ECGs for safety and alert findings and notify appropriate teams according to written procedures.
Perform Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring (ABPM) processing activities.
Balance multiple workflows to support cardiac safety data analysis according to operational priorities.
Participate in quality assurance activities to demonstrate accuracy, precision, and repeatability.
Read, understand, and apply all job-related SOPs and Standard Work Instructions (SWIs).
Meet or exceed departmental productivity and quality metrics.
Escalate system performance concerns through appropriate management and IT channels.
What We Look For
Associate Degree required; Bachelor's Degree in a related scientific, healthcare, or life sciences field preferred.
ECG certification or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
1–2 years of experience in an ECG Core Lab, cardiac safety environment, or regulated clinical research setting.
Familiarity with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), GDPR, and data privacy requirements.
Experience processing ECG, Holter, or other cardiac safety data.
Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently, solve problems, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Experience working successfully within a team-oriented environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, database systems, and web-based tools.
Ability to perform effectively in a metrics-driven production environment with tight turnaround times.
