Summary:
As a Cloud Migration Engineer, a typical day involves evaluating current infrastructure and solutions to determine the best approach for transitioning to cloud environments. This role includes planning and executing the migration of applications and data, ensuring that the solutions implemented are scalable and deliver high performance. The position requires coordinating with various teams to align migration strategies with business goals, while continuously monitoring progress and addressing any challenges that arise during the migration process. The engineer plays a key role in enabling organizations to leverage both private and public cloud technologies to achieve advanced business outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth migration and integration of cloud services.
- Document migration processes and best practices to support knowledge sharing and future projects.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to cloud migration activities.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and sharing expertise.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server Administration.
- Experience in managing database performance, backup, recovery, and security in cloud environments.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and services relevant to database migration and management.
- Ability to design and implement scalable database solutions that align with cloud infrastructure.
- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting to streamline database administration tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address complex migration challenges and optimize database operations.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server Administration.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
