Description
As Vanguard continues to expand our private markets and alternative investment capabilities, we are building the governance, oversight, and operational framework necessary to support this strategic growth. To help advance that vision, we are hiring a US TA Third Party Management Analyst within Transfer Agent Governance & Oversight.
This role will play a foundational part in establishing and managing Vanguard's oversight model for our private investments transfer agency relationship, helping ensure we deliver a scalable, controlled, and investor-focused operating model as the business continues to evolve.
Responsibilities
- Support oversight of State Street's transfer agency services for Vanguard's private investment products
- Execute third-party governance and monitoring activities, including service reviews, issue management, KPI/KRI reporting, and operational performance oversight
- Partner with internal stakeholders to establish governance, control, and escalation frameworks
- Identify risks, control gaps, and operational improvement opportunities across the private markets operating model
- Contribute to contract management, vendor governance, and regulatory readiness activities
- Develop reporting and insights for senior leadership to support decision-making and transparency
- Support business readiness activities as Vanguard continues to scale its private investments platform

Qualifications
- Minimum of three years related work experience. Two years of managing a project preferred. Financial Services or function-specific experience preferred.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
