The Role
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating recurring management and performance reporting cycles.
- Reviewing and validating reporting data to ensure accuracy, consistency and completeness.
- Analysing trends, identifying anomalies and investigating data quality issues.
- Working with stakeholders across the business to gather, challenge and consolidate reporting inputs.
- Supporting the development and maintenance of KPI definitions, reporting standards and documentation.
- Preparing clear and insightful reports for a range of stakeholders, including senior management.
- Contributing to process improvement, reporting automation and reporting standardisation initiatives.
- Supporting the development of Power BI dashboards and other business reporting tools.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 1-4 years' experience in reporting, FP&A, financial analysis, controlling, business analytics or a similar analytical role.
- Experience working with management information, KPI reporting or business performance reporting.
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large volumes of data.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to assess data critically and identify inconsistencies or unusual trends.
- Effective communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders across different functions.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
- A proactive mindset with a desire to improve and streamline reporting processes.
- Experience with Power BI, reporting automation or data visualisation tools would be advantageous.
- A degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Analytics or a related discipline is desirable.
