Girl Scouts - North Carolina Coastal Pines is seeking a Creative & Marketing Manager to join its local council! Girl Scouts - North Carolina Coastal Pines represents 41 counties within North Carolina. Girl Scouts - North Carolina Coastal Pines, in partnership with Girl Scouts of the USA, has a mission to build girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place.
The Creative & Marketing Manager leads the execution and coordination of marketing efforts across the council. This role ensures brand consistency, manages campaigns, and oversees day-to-day marketing operations while contributing to high-impact creative work. This position balances hands-on execution and team coordination to support organizational goals and enhance visibility, engagement, and membership growth.
The annual salary range for this position is $60-65k, commensurate with experience.
The selected candidate must reside in North Carolina, specifically within our council’s 41-county service footprint.
Major Accountabilities:
- Plan and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns (social, web, events)
- Ensure timely execution of marketing initiatives across departments
- Partner with internal teams to support membership, programs, and product sales
- Maintain and uphold brand standards across all materials
- Review and approve creative assets
- Lead design for high-priority campaigns and initiatives
- Oversee and assist social media content execution
- Guide website and assist updates and ensure content accuracy
- Assist in monitoring campaign performance and making adjustments as needed
- Manage incoming marketing requests and prioritize workload
- Coordinate timelines and deliverables across the team
- Serve as the main point of contact for marketing support
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams
- Coordinate with external vendors and partners as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in marketing or communications
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Experience with digital marketing platforms (social media, email, CMS)
- Basic design experience preferred (Adobe Suite, Canva, etc.)
- Ability to work flexible and changing schedules, including evenings and weekends when required.
- Valid driver’s license and continuous availability of automobile. Travel may be required for certain media opportunities or council trainings and meetings.
