GH has a unique position working exclusively with our client, UPMC. By joining the GH team as a Digital Projects Specialist I, you will play an essential role in supporting digital marketing initiatives that enhance patient and member engagement across UPMC’s healthcare system. Working on both the payer and provider sides, this role ensures day-to-day project tasks are executed with accuracy and timeliness. By assisting in Agile sprint activities, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams, the Specialist I contributes to digital experiences—such as patient portals, provider directories, and UPMC public websites—that directly support UPMC’s mission of Life Changing Medicine. This is a hybrid role located in downtown Pittsburgh at the UPMC Corporate Headquarters.

- Assist with sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups
- Support content publishing, QA testing, and CMS updates for digital assets
- Document project tasks, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and marketing stakeholders
- Track sprint deliverables and escalate blockers to leads or managers
- Provide administrative support for project reporting and dashboards
- Demonstrated service-oriented behavior in cross-functional collaborative interactions with clients and co-workers
- Performs in accordance with system-wide competencies/behaviors
Experience, skills, knowledge.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, IT, or related field
- 0–1 year of experience in digital or project coordination
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks, Jira/Workfront, or similar tools
- Strong organizational skills, detail orientation, and eagerness to learn
- Familiarity with health care terminology preferred
