ROLE SUMMARY

The US Vyndamax Health Equity Director will be responsible for shaping and executing the Rare Cardiac Health Equity strategy, driving cross-functional alignment, and leading initiatives that address health care disparities specific to ATTR-CM. The focus will include both wild type and v122i hereditary ATTR-CM and the continued execution, optimization, and expansion of initiative to raise awareness of ATTR-CM in Black/African American communities.

As Vyndamax’s LOE has moved from 2028 to 2031, this role’s core responsibilities will evolve as brand needs shift over the next five years. In the near term, this role will oversee cross-functional efforts tied to the 2027 Health Equity Strategic Plan and will deepen partnerships with advocacy groups, professional organizations, health systems, and community stakeholders. Over time, this role may also lead or contribute to additional growth opportunities, lifecycle planning, and other future brand needs as they emerge.

This role requires marketing experience, a passion for health equity and addressing healthcare disparities, strong communication and project management skills, strategic and analytical thinking, creativity, sound decision-making, and an adaptable, high-energy approach to working across marketing, cross-functional, field, agency, advocacy, and community partners.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibilities for the role include:

• Drive measurable and impactful outcomes through implementation of the 2027 Health Equity Strategic Plan across four key pillars: expand program outreach, apply learnings and refresh resourcing, enhance partnerships, and explore innovative approaches.

• Serve as strategic lead responsible for overall execution, optimization, and expansion of initiatives and expansion to additional cities and states beyond the initial launch plan.

• Generate and assess deep insights around health care disparities among target audiences and serve as an internal brand champion to drive cross-functional understanding and alignment.

• Create a comprehensive and sustainable metrics plan to assess Health Equity plan impact on increasing ATTR-CM suspicion in local HCP and patient communities.

• Develop future Health Equity strategic and tactical plans that drive outcomes linked to the broader Vyndamax strategic plan and account for the continually evolving Health Equity landscape.

• Manage multicultural agency partner(s) to identify appropriate community partners in each city or state, including advocacy, civic, faith-based, medical, professional society, health system, and community organizations.

• Lead key tactical initiatives for culturally relevant community resources and tactics, including educational presentations, health fair materials, collateral pieces, and other resources informed by market research and patient insights.

• Oversee HCP & community presentations, including the process to nominate and train HCP speakers in each market, conduct appropriate outreach to community members, collaborate with agency partners to schedule events, and measure program impact and reach.

• Identify complementary “surround sound” tactics, such as paid media, to help reach target consumers and physicians in focus markets.

• Partner with Pfizer External Communications and PR/communications agency partners to develop communications tactics in support of the program, such as local op-eds featuring KOLs or patient spokespeople.

• Partner with field-based champions in focus markets to introduce localized tools that enable Field Force and KAMs to inform HCPs and health systems about the program and educate on suspicion and diagnosis of hereditary ATTR-CM.

• Facilitate periodic check-in calls with customer-facing teams to share learnings and best practices across markets.

• Manage program budget, including agency fees, media, sponsorships, and related investments.

• Measure KPIs and optimize the program based on results, insights, and learnings.

• Represent Rare Cardiac on Specialty Care Health Equity COE to share best practices, identify collective advantage, and align on common guiding principles.
