Join Our Team as a Loan Operations Supervisor
Under general direction of the Loan Operations Manager, incumbent will take the lead in facilitating the processing, closing and servicing of consumer, commercial and residential mortgage loans. Incumbent will demonstrate a broad knowledge of processes, procedures, policies, products, and services involved in the Loan Department with respect to consumer, mortgage, commercial & industrial and commercial real estate loan support. Incumbent must demonstrate sound organizational skills with attention to detail, be proactive and take initiative, as well demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal and external contacts.
Loan Operations Supervisor is an experienced level position within the loan support job family and will function as the back-up to the Loan Operations Manager during absences. Projects performed at this level are of a complex nature and incumbents at this level possess a thorough knowledge of all lending products, credit policy and regulatory/secondary market requirements. Incumbents at this level will demonstrate knowledge and understanding of a wide array loan processing and servicing activities. This position provides frontline supervision to between 6 and 10 employees in non-supervisory positions.

Qualifications
- A., degree in Business Administration preferred or High School Diploma and a minimum of 5 years of progressively more complex Loan servicing and/or loan processing experience required.
- Prior experience with MortgageBot and or LaserPro preferred.
- Prior experience with escrow accounting and loan processing or servicing highly desired. Secondary market residential lending experience desired.
- Ability to operate various office equipment including personal computer, printers, Fax machine, 10-key adding machine, multi-line telephone, copy machine, etc.
- Intermediate to advanced level understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel required. Proficient in the use of Outlook and company core & lending systems.
- Advanced level understanding of core system reporting software and the ability to create moderately complex to highly complex reports.
- Demonstrated effective time management and organizational skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills to relate to a variety of managers, executives, directors, customers, and employees; public relations skills; tact, diplomacy, and patience.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage highly confidential information.
- Ability to use good judgment and make appropriate decisions.
- Ability to work on several projects simultaneously and with a variety of employees, managers, executives, etc. Ability to work under pressure with constant interruptions.
- Ability to meet bonding requirements for employment purposes.

Licensing Requirements
Employees that: (1) take residential mortgage loan applications and (2) offer or negotiate terms of a residential mortgage loan will be required to: 1) register with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry and complete a MU4R filing notice, 2) to provide fingerprints and 3) to authorize a criminal background screen through the Registry in compliance with the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 (S.A.F.E. Act). First Federal will facilitate the individual registration and pay all applicable registration fees.
