This Team Lead owns the data, accountability and quality culture layer across the IRC. Working across every functional area rather than a single production line, the Q-ops Team Lead builds the systems that give leaders clear visibility of performance, and builds the habits that turn that visibility into action. The role also acts as a key quality checkpoint, ensuring vehicles meet the required standard before going live, and helps build inspection capability across the floor.
What you'll be doing?
Data & dashboards
- Standardise how each function (Pre & Post Production, Cosmetic, Mechanical) captures and reports performance data
- Build and maintain live dashboards giving Senior Leads and Team Leads daily visibility of output against target
- Run regular data quality checks to catch gaps or inconsistencies in reporting
Accountability & culture
- Facilitate daily or weekly stand-ups where Team Leads report numbers and blockers
- Design and run shift-versus-shift or team-versus-team leaderboards to build healthy competition
- Coach Team Leads on interpreting and acting on their own data, not just reporting it upward
Quality & compliance
- Check compliance and quality of all vehicles prior to uploading/photographing, post-detailing
- Spot-check vehicles against IRC standards documents
- Track rework rates by team to catch quality drift early
- Teach QC inspection standards and techniques to Team Leads and Trainers (SMEs), building inspection capability across the floor rather than centralising it
- Contribute to the process for updating SOPs when standards fall out of step with floor practice
No direct reports at this stage. This is an individual-contributor role sitting at Team Lead level, working horizontally across all functional groups rather than owning a single production patch.

- You drive performance through people, inspiring a team rather than just managing tasks.
- You have a sharp eye for detail and a natural instinct for identifying the root causes of problems.
- You pivot fast, adapt easily, and stay calm under pressure in a rapid-fire environment.
- Confidence operating on the floor - engaging, directing and supporting teams in real time
- You hold a valid NSW Driver’s Licence
