Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Detail in El Paso, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at an educational location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide professional customer service to students, staff, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and faculty by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with school administrators and emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, athletic facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report suspicious conditions or policy violations, and maintain accurate incident and patrol documentation.
• Follow all applicable laws, licensing requirements, district procedures, and Allied Universal policies related to armed assignments and use of equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
